I read with great interest that the BBC reports that house prices on on the up, according to RICS.

"House prices are likely to keep on rising for the time being, says the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (Rics).

Its latest monthly survey shows that sellers are now beginning to return to the property market....."

Yet further on into the BBC website we find a conflict of interests -
On the 6 November, not a million miles away - the BBC reported that -

"The recovery in UK house prices could be punctuated by a 6.6% drop in values next year, property group Savills has forecast.

It expects that after a 3.7% rise in prices this year, there will be peaks and troughs over five years.
This would include a notable drop in 2010 as the number of homes on the market outstrips demand..."

Still having problems finding www.view-me.com in Google UK?
It would appear that one minute we are there listed in the top5 of the search listings, then we disappear and only other links related to the site such as this one shows?
In Google you can view the many pages that we have listed on their datbase by simply following the free property advertising link which is here
We are now in the process of suspending one of our domain names on a temporary basis, cyberspacehost.
We feel that this is part to do with the problem of our parent site not showing directly at the number one spot due to a cache problem held within the database on the search engines site for the cyberspacehost domain name.

This is an issue we are dealing with as we own both the domain names - no problem there then?
However it is a problem for those searching for us, if you have ANY problems locating the site, simply type the url [www.view-me.com] into the address bar at the top of your browser window.

So after 10 years and then it all just comes back, the thought of advertising properties that you can view on the internet really has come on leaps and bounds.
What's with the 10 years? Well that's when I bought the domain name View-Me.com .
I wanted to start a property advertising company basically to for individuals who wanted to sell their homes - for sale by owners FSBO . However the whole concept was scupped by its own flaw...technology! Broad band was a milliion miles away for the average Joe and dial up was a nightmare for high bandwith sites. View Me was never going to get off the ground with slow internet speeds.
So here we are today, far greater technology and a web site that you can view images of properties that seem to glide effortlesly either through a Virtual Tour or Panoramic Tour .
With Google Maps and Google Street Maps enhancing the features of the site to show clearly the neighbourhood as well as detailed information about the property given by the owner or agent, it's sure to start catching on where you want to advertise your home.
